The Marathon County Solid Waste Department has many services it can offer to businesses to help them manage their waste:

  • Certificate of Destruction for disposal of items

If you plan to make frequent visits to the landfill, you can set up an account with us. Fill out a CREDIT APPLICATION (CLICK HERE) and email accounting specialist, Julie Groshek at julie.groshek@marathoncounty.gov. Please note: WIS DOT number and WDNR number are required to have an account. It may take up to two weeks to process credit applications. The Solid Waste Department reserves the right to restrict credit limits or reject applications that have limited or poor credit history. The SWD reserves the right to close or suspend accounts that have arrears in excess of 90 days.
