WORK with us

The staff of the Marathon County Solid Waste Department are the “What Do You Do With Experts!”  If you are not sure what to do with a waste stream, we’ll tell you where to put it.

Whether confronting a major project or evaluating industrial byproducts, there are many things to consider. When faced with “special wastes,” those wastes that require special attention and care for handling, transportation, and disposal, it is best to connect with us early in the planning process.  We will ensure the most efficient strategy with the least surprises that will also maintain our high standards for environmental and public health.
